To commemorate The Chronicles x Stickydiljoe’s 10-year anniversary, owner Joey Lee threw down a quality car meet designed to gather the people who make The Chronicles possible together in one place. This year’s anniversary meet was once again put together in appreciation of all of those who support the greater cause, as The Chronicles has been providing the automotive tuner community with newsworthy coverage of car culture for the past decade. The event was held at Eibach’s headquarters in Corona, California.

Keeping with tradition, The Chronicles kept the event low-key as they invited supporters, friends, and family to attend the event. This wasn’t your typical Eibach event with over 1,000 cars—rather, 220 quality vehicles gave attendees a solid look at some of the most impressive tuner cars around.

“The Chronicles meets just have this very classic, old-school, comforting vibe to it that brings people together for a good time,” says Lee.

A number of modifications to the Civic consisted of a newly introduced forced-induction setup and Rays TE37 wheels.  The original J’s Racing vent hood received a number of Top Stage composite vents to promote additional cooling.

It’s a rare sight to find a modified B18A1 or B18B1 engine in this day and age.

Modifying this ‘90s–era B-series netted some decent horsepower, but its popularity has now become non-existent with the current status of the K-series powerplants dominating the tuner market.

Evasive Motorsports offered up their FK8 Civic Type R—outfitted with a slew of EVS Tuning carbon fiber products—to HKS as a collaborative effort. HKS outfitted the Civic with HKS Hipermax coilovers, oil cooler, cat-back exhaust, air intake with carbon fiber inlet box, and the company’s most recent release—its Super SQV4 blow-off valve. The old school HKS splash logo complemented the Advan Racing TC-4 wheels perfectly!

Just because it’s a Chronicles event, many are quick to assume that this meet caters strictly to the Honda-only crowds. Lee encourages non-Hondas to attend every year as he’s a car fanatic who enjoys all makes and models.

I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that a ’97 Integra Type-R recently sold at a Barrett-Jackson auction for $63,800 last month. The kicker was it was in used condition with over 15,000 miles on it.

John FOB, best known for his JGTC-inspired Acura NSX, rolled into the meet with a slightly different vehicle. John has a knack for grabbing attention and his Bape camo-wrapped Lamborghini Aventador was no different.

From 1955—when the Toyota Century first made its debut—this vehicle has always been associated as the luxury car for dignitaries and CEOs in Japan, so when I saw this ride slammed on a set of Enkei 92 wheels, I couldn’t help but smile. Look inside and you might recognize the old-school cell phone, fold-down console with TV, reclinable seats with full functionality controls and even a printer attached behind the driver’s seat.

The owner of this Integra opted to keep the engine bay simple, yet clean. I was really digging those ITBs which have been ceramic-coated in a matte finish, with the headers finished to match.
