As much as it’s important to acknowledge heritage and history, Answer is very aware that its future is tied to the younger generation’s enthusiasm for the sport. In 2024, motocross is growing, in part because of increased exposure from social media and the introduction of new formats in the segment—freestyle, supercross, big air, and Supermoto—that feature crowd-pleasing stunts and jumps. Because of this surging interest, motocross’s athlete pool is enjoying stardom more than ever, too. This perfect storm means more kids are interested in hopping on a dirt bike and giving it a go. It’s just a matter of whether entry into the sport is possible for a wide range of budgets.

THE ANSWER

That’s where Answer Racing comes in. Its latest collection, something it’s calling the “Answer 25 line”, focuses on combining cutting-edge technology and legitimate performance into its adult and youth products. Beyond those metrics, Answer 25 is also gear that looks good. In a time when everything touts itself to be the “ultimate, uncompromising, and unbeatable,” it’s refreshing to hear Answer admit each tier in this new line—except for the Elite^TM products—doesn’t have all the bells and whistles. The Arkon^TM series offers a balance between performance and value, while the Syncron^TM products carry just the functional essentials: protection, durability, and moisture-wicking breathability. Adopting a “something for everyone” business model removes one significant hurdle for young and ambitious riders.

The Answer “25” lineup also includes three glove styles that, again, accommodate different riding preferences and features. The Aerlite glove prioritizes breathability, Ascent touts comfort and grip, and Peak is a happy medium between the two. Is that too many options? For anyone who hasn’t jumped on a bike, maybe. For those who actively ride, you’ll know that the right gear can give you the confidence you need to ride hard.
