The introduction of European sport compacts like the Volkswagen GTI-VR6 and Audi A4 initiated a storm of aftermarket support for the German passenger vehicles. Shops began catering specifically to these consumers. One of the pioneers in this industry boom, AWE Tuning, has always had one goal to “Unlock Performance”.

Whether it’s officially organized or a casual gathering, automotive enthusiasts in Southern California are seemingly always close in proximity to a car show. Hosted by AutoCon Events and Purist Group, the Third Annual Winter Drive combined a car show with a charity event to raise donations for charity organizations within the community. Not only assembling an impressive list of unique cars but also over $250,000 worth of toys, this event had something for everyone.
Hong Kong is not often known for its car scene. Hidden amongst the endless rows of skyscrapers and cramped living spaces, it has remained relatively hidden. That’s not to say that Hong Kong has wanted to keep its car scene underground up until now.
The Scion FR-S was created with one word in mind; balance. The lightweight body was purposely deprived of a powerful engine and large tires to keep the focus on momentum. However, the braking system still lacks the proper tools to enjoy a day on the track without losing pedal pressure.
