• Turn 14 Distribution’s Central Hall booth played host to the first two Happy Hour events, but we took it outside to Pit+Paddock’s Silver Lot location for the grand finale.
• The venue switch allowed Happy Hour guests to enjoy a variety of builds, including the Pit+Paddock x Bilstein E91 GTS Tribute, Turn 14 Distribution Rivian R1S, Husqvarna FC 450, and Greg Park’s Inozetek Lamborghini Diablo GT.

Make no mistake about it, the SEMA Show is a grind despite how bright and shiny it may appear from the outside. Yes, there’s a lot to love about the industry’s annual congregation. Still, the automotive aftermarket is a business at the core, and our business hats must be worn well past normal business hours.

The stressors of SEMA created an opportunity for Pit+Paddock to provide a welcomed respite to fellow exhibitors and show attendees. In partnership with Turbosmart, we created a Happy Hour event that would help us all take a load off at the end of the day. Select industry guests were invited to enjoy a wide array of libations alongside some of the show’s standouts.

TURBO, SMART

Turbosmart is an Australian manufacturer of high-performance engine components specializing in boost control accessories and, as of this year, full-blown performance turbocharger solutions. The brand has received incredible praise at SEMA over the last two years, deservedly earning New Product Awards (Best Engineered and Best Performance-Racing Product respectively) for its continued innovation in the space. Its turbos represent the next step in the company’s evolution; the Turbosmart TS-1 and TS-2 turbochargers leverage modern materials, design, and manufacturing techniques to create a turbo family that meets the demands of professional motorsport and performance enthusiasts alike.

CENTER STAGE

The Turn 14 Distribution flagship booth inside Central Hall provided a premium venue to host the first two Happy Hour activations.

There, attendees were able to meet and greet with Turn 14 Distribution staff and fellow enthusiasts while being surrounded by some truly impactful machinery: our Pit+Paddock x Bilstein E91 GTS Tribute, Turn 14 Distribution’s Defender-rivaling Rivian R1S, and a Husqvarna FC 450 to mark the distributor’s proud entry into the powersports market.

GRAND FINALE

For a change of scenery and a bit of sunlight, we decided to take the final day of the Happy Hour trio outside to the Pit+Paddock booth. The open air and welcoming energy that wafted throughout the booth attracted a generous helping of fresh faces, new conversations, and big smiles in equal measure. As they did all week long, the quintet of booth cars lured hordes of wide-eyed car enthusiasts near and encouraged all of them to capture every immaculately modified example from all the available angles.

As so many of the Pit+Paddock SEMA activations did, the Happy Hour triple-header helped us all remember why we work and play in this industry together. The automotive aftermarket may be a small world, but Pit+Paddock prides itself on recognizing the big opportunities inside of it to celebrate the work we do and the people behind every turn.
